The goal of the project is to get students involved in researching and producing a written history project. The project is designed to last 4-6 weeks, but can be adjusted to fit your classroom and schedule.
Students’ final project will include: a cover, timeline, key vocabulary list, description of the topic, biographies of important people, and an essay on the significance of the topic. These projects can be compiled from each group to create a book to be shared with friends, families, and other students.
