Tarsia puzzle (match terms and definitions on triangular cards to complete the puzzle)
Based on the Edexcel specification command words for Science, but will apply to other subjects as well.
Excellent for ensuring students understand what is being asked for in a question.
Simply print and cut out the cards, back with coloured card and laminate to make class sets.
Excellent revision activity, can take quite a while the first few times students try to complete it, I recommend giving groups of 4 up to 20 minutes, but with practice I’ve had students do it on their own in close to 5 minutes. Really builds confidence and fantastic across the curriculum!
