Good for a challenge/extension being more open ended. Children write some similarities and differences about two triangles. Both are equilateral triangles but one has a different orientation and is smaller. Mention properties of shape like number of sides, corners, lengths of sides, position/orientation/ rotation, they are 'similar' (same angles and proportion), type of triangle, both triangles, both regular, enlargement, different areas and perimeters etc. The properties focused on can be adapted for the year.
