The CONNECT FOUR game should be played in pairs. Each child takes it in turn to select a word class e.g. noun and must verbally provide an example e.g. table. They can then place a counter on the box. The aim is to get four counters in a row to win the game. The learning objective for the game is to identify word classes and it is differentiated four ways. Laminate the boards and use them again and again!
