A full lesson revising areas of 2D shapes, including circles and sectors, along with a little percentages too. Suitable for use with KS4 or KS3. Three different levels of lesson to cover all sets - 'red' is the easiest, then 'orange' with the 'green' lesson being the hardest. A good resource for general revision or use on Pi Day.

Looks really good, especially as it is differentiated. Have saved for later

This looks absolutely perfect for my Y8 class with mixed abilities. Term 2 covers area and percentage. Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic lesson to work on areas, polygons, circles, fractions, percentages at different levels in the same class or in different grades. I am going to use it for sure with Spanish 12- year -old (7th grade?) students in my CLIL Maths lessons. I will use the red version for the whole class but will offer the orange one to those students who may finish too quickly. I love the extension, because it gives students the opportunity to create their own designs using different 2D-shapes in order to obtain composite shapes. I will also ask them to describe their designs, as they are learning English as well as Maths.<br /> Thanks a lot for sharing such a rich task!!
