Creative Writing, Senses and Techniques

This is a complete lesson for creative writing that looks at developing sensory descriptions and using techniques, in particular the acronym MAPSTORES.
The lesson includes a discussion based starter and the main activities include sensory stations activities with a group writing activity to follow. There is then a teacher led element around the techniques and the lesson ends with a quiz focusing on MAPSTORES.

Sensory station prompts are provided at the end of the slide deck or alternatively on a separate document to print if preferred.
