A Phonics Story focusing on the split digraph u-e sound, including a simple story, the common exception words the, to and said, as well as other resources. Original illustrations by myself.

I have chosen the words carefully to only include u-e words that use a pure oo sound, and not a 'you' sound ie/ use or tube. These will be included in the next story I do for the u-e sound.

Perfect as a resource to support your phonics, during guided reading, or as an intervention for SEN or older children filling gaps in their phonics knowledge.

Can be opened in iBooks to be read on iPad, perfect for in school or on the go.

So far in the series there are packs for ay, ee, igh, ow, long oo, short oo, ar, or, sh, voiced th, unvoiced th, ch, tch, ai, ur, oa, ow, a-e, i-e, o-e and u-e. As well as 2 phonics games; phonics lotto and phonics cards. Watch this space for more packs and games.

Included is 2 formats; 1 story to be used on IWB, and 1 to be printed and folded into a book.

Now included is a page of alien words to practice alongside the other words.

These books are just what I have been waiting for .They concentrate on one phonics sound and this is helpful for young children especially special needs .They are beautifully illustrated.
