This links to the KS3 and Edexcel GCSE curriculum and allows staff to see an overview of the curriculum.
There is one term not complete to allow for local history to be completed term 6 of year 8.
KS3 is very traditional at times however it also allows for more diverstiy such as looking at the rights of disabled and LGBTQI+ as well as looking at migration over time.
This document goes over the core concepts to be taught, academic texts that can be read to support staff as well as the assessment links.
The curriculum that follows this will be on my store as well if you wish to follow it. It will have all SOL, Lessons and assessments that can be bought separately or as a bundle.
