Written to match OCR A level Biol Year 1 (2015 onwards) section on defence against disease. You need to download the Tarsia software (free) but these puzzles really challenge the students’ understanding of the knowledge section of the spec. THe words around the outside of the puzzle are either ways of discovering/developing new medicines or different types of immunity. This typically takes students between 20 and 40 minutes to complete - group work and discussion works well
