Objective: To be able to correctly identify a variety of transparent, translucent and opaque objects
This is a worksheet to support recording ideas in science for topic on light. It uses a short cloze procedure to define the meanings of scientific vocabulary. Then children find objects around the room which they record in the correct part of the table. Then two ray diagrams are provided showing light rays for transparent and translucent objects. Children are challenged to draw the diagram for an opaque object.
