Descriptive Writing Lesson

During this presentation pupils will be able to plan, create and peer assess their own piece of description.

This is a FUN lesson that I have used for inset days, OfSTED lessons and even GCSE preparation lessons. It includes clear Success Criterias that pupils can use as a tick list of aspects to include in their descriptions. I have differentiated the Success Criteria for two differing abilities, therefore this lesson can suit any age ranges.

This lesson helps pupils to experience the sensation and emotions of going on a rollercoaster enabling them to plan a piece of description more successfully.
