Dollar Up Practice Restaurant Edition. Practice using the dollar up/ next dollar method for purchasing items at the store with this adapted book. Dollar amounts up to $13.00.

The book has 8 items to practice purchasing. Students are given a choice of 3 prices on each page and are asked to pick the price that is the next dollar after the price shown. Students then read the sentence at the bottom of the page, using the visual supports on the sentence strip. (Ex: I need $7.00 to pay the check.)

Visually supported counting and envelope for students to count the necessary dollar amounts and "pay" for the item.

Get ready for community based instruction with this dollar up/ purchasing practice adapted book. Visual supports aide students in correctly counting the right amount of money and pay for the item.

This is a great way to have students work on money awareness and dollar up while encouraging students to read/ write and speak in complete sentences. These books are especially great for students with minimal verbal skills.
