This is a whole lesson (including lesson plan) about the dreams of characters within Of Mice and Men and the reality of whether they will achieve their dreams eventually. The lesson encourages students to think about being marginalised and about prejudice. There is an essay style question which could then be answered.

I have also included a sheet which encourages free thinking and creative links between characters, their dreams and our perception of the characters and dreams. There are no right or wrong answers for this - the student must link the characters with a picture and explore how they could link and reasons for this.
