A ready-to-import Product Design development rubric for MarkSmithPro, covering isometric drawing, oblique drawing, CAD design, and modelling.

This is a ready-to-import MarkSmithPro preset for a Year 10 Product Design development project. It is useful for assessing the design communication and modelling skills students build before or during more extended D&T project work.

The preset covers:

• Section A: Isometric drawing
• Section B: Oblique drawing
• Section C: CAD design
• Section D: Modelling

Each section includes mark bands and feedback wording, making it easier to give clear comments on drawing accuracy, rendering, CAD use, modelling quality, and development work.

How to use it:

1. Open MarkSmithPro.
2. Import the .marksmith file from this download.
3. Add your class list.
4. Select the descriptors that best match each student’s work.
5. Export or print the feedback sheets.

This is not a printable drawing booklet. It is a MarkSmithPro project file, so it needs the free MarkSmithPro desktop app to open. I built it to make repeated D&T project marking more consistent and less dependent on rewriting the same feedback each time.
