This scheme was originally made for Year 7s, but could be used for Year 8 as well.
The focus of the unit is on reading and identifying features of Dystopian Fiction throughout various extracts, and then being able to use those same writing skills to create their own Dystopian Fiction text (both in planning, and by writing the opening chapter of their own piece).
