Watch this short informative film that shows how the events of Easter and Eastertide are represented within Westminster Abbey. Focusing on mosaics, friezes and stained-glass windows, primary and secondary students are shown a few examples of Christian art and are given hints about what to look out for. This film reminds students that churches are places that help Christians to remember Christ’s life, death and resurrection, especially when considering the shape of the building.

This film is designed to showcase real Christian art examples within a church as a consolidation activity after students have learnt about Easter.
