Pupils consider the different issues between Charles II and Parliament once the restoration has occurred.
Pupils begin with a quick reminder about the Restoration through the video: restoration of the stuart monarchy. Pupils then consider the type of person Charles II was, and how this might cause issues, before going into some role play to discuss the issues at hand. Some information about the Restoration Settlement is given and discussed, before pupils then consider the different specific areas of issue and complete a guided table on this. Pupils then summarise a passage of reading on some of the issues for Charles using poetry, before showing their understanding through pictionary.
