An ‘A’ grade response comparing ‘Eat Me’ from the Poems of the Decade Anthology with the unseen poem ‘Harvest’ by Owen Sheers.

This resource can be used to model a higher level approach to unseen poetry. Pupils can highlight where the answer meets the assessment criteria as a way of breaking down the mark scheme in a practical fashion. The first few paragraphs have italicised and bold phrases to demonstrate this, but these can be removed before pupils read it.
