Edexcel GCSE History Bible (exemplar workbook)!

Included is a complete breakdown of every question in the Edexcel GCSE History specification (including for the updates and changes to the format of the questions from 2025 onwards). This includes:

• Knowledge needed for that unit
• What the question stem is
• How to answer the question
• The mark scheme for the question
• How the marks are awarded (assessment objectives)
• WAGOLL
• A sample answer for every level within that type of question and an explanation as to why it would achieve that level
• Sample answers that can be pupil-marked
• Space for planning of answers to a question (I have used the 2024 exam series)
• Sample questions (2-3 of each for every question)

These are modelled on the following topics (though the format works for any option choices):
