The online world can be a scary place, but it doesn’t have to be! EE have launched PhoneSmart, an interactive online course teaching pupils aged 10-12 how to be safe and kind online. Tackle issues of online behaviour, cyber bullying, fake news and privacy, and empower them to achieve their PhoneSmart Licence. Submit these to us and you might win fantastic prizes, including 10 Galaxy tablets for your school or a new Xbox series S!

Many of your pupils will have mobile phones already, while others are yet to get theirs. Whatever their situation, set your pupils up for a life online with PhoneSmart. Pupils will navigate the five modules independently with help from exciting animations and relatable characters. Then, they will answer engaging quiz questions and collect badges along the way. Once pupils have collected all their badges, they will receive their PhoneSmart Licence. You can deliver this programme in class, as it is linked to the** PSHE and computer science curriculum** or send it home.

Pupils meet Arlo, Jayden, Mei and Lily who introduce them to five exciting scenarios; The Big Reveal, Meme-A-Geddon, Zombietown, Phonejack’d and Holy Fake. What happens when Mei receives a tempting email that seems too good to be true? Or Lily pulls an all-nighter on an online game? Through engaging quizzes, pupils help them decide how to respond or act if it happens again. Information on each module, timings and delivery options can be found in our FREE easy-to-use teacher and parent resources.
