These worksheets support ‘The History Teacher’ videos on YouTube. Each video covers a topic in the Early Elizabethan England unit and comes with 10 knowledge retrieval/comprehension questions and a ‘tell me the story’ task. The final task is aimed at getting students used to using the narrative to explain key concepts such as significance or causation. These are ideal for setting as homework, for flipped learning or for starters or plenaries.

Included are the question sheet, answer sheet and powerpoint slide so no marking for you!

The videos aim to give students the knowledge they need to excel at GCSE in easy to manage bitesized chunks. They are highly specific, focused only on what the student needs to know for the exam. I’ve had amazing feedback from students watching my videos and I hope your students will find them just as helpful.

These are editable versions of the worksheets, if you would like access to all previous and new editable resources for all my videos you can become a member for as little as £3 pm. Check out https://www.buymeacoffee.com/historyteacher and click on membership for more details.
