Egyptian Pharaohs Role Play Lesson

In this lesson students are encouraged to come face-to-face with some of ancient Egypt´s most illustrious rulers. After first considering what the main qualities were needed to be a pharaoh, students then must decide which out of the three Pharaoh´s presented should be the next ruler of Egypt. Three students are chosen and provided with a role play card detailed the main strengths and weaknesses of that specific pharaoh. Each must then present themselves before the high priests and priestesses (the class) in order to pursuade them to choose them. This lesson is fully resourced (PPT, worksheet and role play cards).
