Element puzzles

A very easy worksheet for low ability students. To work out what each element is simply write the initial letter of the picture shown, this in turn spells out an element. It works on literacy skills as well as science and I also got them to look for the element on their periodic table so that they could write the symbol on the sheet as well. I have used these with students with Downs Syndrome and low ability students who found them fun and non threatening. I have also enclosed here the sheet of pictures I use for creating the worksheets, should you wish to create your own.
