Elements in the Body - Research task

This is a worksheet about the different chemical elements that are found in the human body. Students must use their own knowledge, as well as the internet or text books, to answer the questions about where different elements are found in the body. There is an extension research task at the end too asking students to find out about elements that get in the body but that are poisonous to us.

Ideal for advanced Key Stage 3 students and GCSE Science/Chemistry students.

This could be used as a lesson plenary to allow students to increase their knowledge of where we find elements in the human body, and as a source of adding general interest and real world applications of chemistry to engage students.
