This is a history presentation on the first female doctor to qualify in England, Elizabeth Garrett-Anderson.

The presentation covers Elizabeth’s childhood, her decision to try to become a doctor, her eventual qualification, the founding of a hospital and school of medicine and her legacy. The last part of the presentation includes some interesting questions to provoke discussion.
