This is a GCSE lesson following the OCR spec and textbook for Elizabeth I and her use of propaganda. Other than solely focusing on the many portraits of Elizabeth I, which demonstrate her power, this lesson looks at the other methods employed during her reign.

The lesson follows specification and mark-scheme. The main activity is based on the criteria to answer the exam source question.

Lesson includes:
- Interactive/Stimulating starter
- Main tasks with variety of worksheets to allow for differentiation
- all worksheets included
- Plenary exam question which stems directly from the main task.

This lesson can be extended and can become a research/presentation project.
