These emotional scale worksheets with a choice of different pictures, have been created to help look at different emotions and explore ways to navigate through them. Once complete, they can be placed in visible areas, and children (with support) can be guided to try to follow and practice their own calming techniques when needed. A corner or box of equipment for them to go to is also ideal (they may need to push/pull something heavy, find a quiet place to rest, draw or paint).

Talking about interoception with children and how their minds and bodies work together is more beneficial, especially for learners with Alexithymia - they need more visuals to ‘connect’ to an emotion. I have these on another listing.

A choice of graphics from cute gnomes, emojis or pictures.

6 x A4 sheets.
