Suitable for KS3 or lower ability KS4, this resource uses an extract from Pan’s Labyrinth to take students through Q1, Q4 and Q5 of English Langauge Paper 1 (AQA). I used it as revision, but you could easily adapt it as an introduction to the paper/ skills.

The PowerPoint covers Q1, includes some general questions on the text and then focuses on Q4 - Evaluation.
There are also some slides to prompt descriptive and narrative writing.
