Equality Speech Writing SOW

A detailed and thorough SOW for speech writing. The scheme has students building on skills learnt to eventually be able to write about a social topic of their choosing. Students learn about pathos, ethos and logos to build a coherent and articulate speech.

Students read and watch a breadth of speeches from politicians, celebrities and more to learn how they can engage and enthuse their listener.

There are built in activities for students to build confidence in public speaking as well as opportunities to develop oracy.
