A review at the end of a topic on equations.\nI did this with a mixed-ability IGCSE class (ranging from E to A* predictions). In mixed teams of 4, they had the 'Warm-Up and Coaching' pages (including answers) for 20 min coaching each other and practising. I got each team member to choose three point levels they would work on during the competition (35 min). This ensured that the highest-achieving students focused on the higher level questions, and other students could make a contribution by tackling the simpler questions. (No simultaneous equations as we hadn&'t studied them yet!)
