A text describing how Halloween is celebrated in the UK and explaining the history, suitable for Entry 1 ESOL students and emerging Entry 2 ESOL students.
Two versions of the text are provided to allow for differentiation.
Both texts are accompanied by True / False questions and a prepositions gapfill. The harder text also has some vocabulary word / picture matching.
Please note that both texts use the past simple tense but should nevertheless be comprehensible at Entry 1.
