Extend Your Vocabulary Challenging Synonyms 2

This presentation is the second in a series of designed for potential use as a starter or a plenary activity in English. Presentations 2,3 and 4 which follow the same format are available on this platform at an appropriate price. In each challenge students are challenged, individually or in groups, to “decode” meaning and identify the word which best maintains the sentence meaning. For maximum it should be used on an interactive board or large screen display. The whole presentation contains 10 challenges and 23 slides. There are also monochrome printable activities to facilitate homework or a cover lesson.
