Activity designed for use as a starter or plenary activity in a KS3 English or a library research lesson. Students are presented with 5 definitions of words that begin with the letters “man” and are challenged to identify the correct word. There are 10 sets of this challenge in increasing level of difficulty. There are also 5 monochromatic slides which may be used to facilitate a cover lesson or homework. The whole presentation contains 28 slides and hyperlinks to aid navigation are embedded throughout.
