In our EYFS bereavement support lesson plan we include curriculum links, lesson structure and suggested childhood bereavement book ‘About Hedgehog’, designed to support children 3-11 years. Also included are lesson preparation ideas for the topic and extension activity ideas. Included in the suggested book is a questions page and memories page, these are also included separately as part of the lesson plan pack for use by individual children or as a cohort.
