This is a persuasive letter told from the perspective of the Giant in Jack and the Beanstalk. He is complaining to a fictional Fairy Tale Council about the problems that Jack has caused, such as ruining the environment, theft and causing serious injury.

This could be used as a model text with KS2 children to identify key features and language of persuasive texts, or as a Guided Reading resource.
