Learning Intentions:

The Lesson focuses on encouraging students to reflect on how families shape and influence identity. Students learn about the role of the family and the different family types in modern UK society.
Students learn about marriage and divorce, as well as what behaviours and characteristics make a healthy/unhealthy relationship.

PowerPoint and Workpack is in comic sans, size 14 and Powerpoint slides have a yellow background to ensure that it is SEN inclusive. The lesson includes differentiated learning tasks that challenge students to be critical thinkers. The lesson includes assessment for learning opportunities.
The PowerPoint has teacher notes with suggested teaching ideas and questioning, as well as suggested times, to aid teachers.
