Activity to introduce creating food webs. The cards contain pictures and information about fantasy animals and plants which can be given to the pupils in a pile. Each card explains the predator and prey of each animal and contains all the necessary information to be arranged either into smaller food chains or one large food web.
An accompanying presentation introduces food chains/webs, and includes questions / a plenary using the fantasy animals in the main activity to check understanding.
