Tasks become more challenging through the pack, culminating in A2 past exam question from AQA. The markscheme can be used for self, peer or teacher assessment, either after each task is complete, or at the end of the workpack.

Images to create a small flipbook demonstrating the nerves that are active in the reflex arc. Pupils can cut out the pieces and staple together to a flipbook (or get the awesome reprographics guy to sort it), and then pupils can colour in the nerve that is active (first sensory, then reflex, then motor - and then the hand is removed as the effector muscle is active) to show the direction and action of each nerve. NB: Cutting off the bottom right hand corner at an angle makes the book easier to 'flick&'. :)
