I have created a powerpoint assembly which I delivered in my school to help raise awareness of the ongoing Farmers’ protests which are taking place in India and to support those students and staff who have family in India who are suffering as a result of the human rights violations that the Indian government are subjecting the innocent and peaceful protestors too. Please feel free to download this powerpoint and request your school to allow you to deliver it to your school also to help to continue to raise awareness of this important global issue and in turn help to put an end to the unlawful acts the Indian government are deploying against it’s own farmers. Injustice to anyone anywhere is injustice to everyone everywhere, let’s stand together against injustice and undemocratic governments. The powerpoint is approximately 30 minutes in length which includes the video links and voiceover for each slide but it can easily be used for a whole lesson when discussing the issues with your school/class.

Thank you for creating this insightful powerpoint, it has helped greatly in raising awareness of this global issue. Both staff and students around our school have said the powerpoint has opened their eyes to the shocking acts of the Indian government against it's own farmers and more specifically the farmers of Punjab.
