This is a great 'figures&' project which ties in figure drawing, Tim Burton, Giacometti and even Anthony Gormley if you wish. Students select a figure recognisable by costume and construct them from wire, paper mache and clay.
Its a project they love and I&';ve even done it at primary schools too!
