A retelling of the parable focused on the ascent of the mountain, paired with a descriptive poem about the mountain at sunrise. Pupils write the retelling as a continuous narrative across two paragraphs — one rooted on the farm, the other on the peak — using conjunctions of time (while, as, until) to sequence the climb, adverbs to describe the eagle’s flight, and direct speech between the farmer and his friend.
