A very short reading task to promote close reading. The texts and questions are deliberately designed to have distractors and examiner-style traps. Encourage students to read very carefully. The questions are given in A + B forms in French and English so that you can give A and B worksheets to a pair of students and each can help the other translate the tasks.
I finished this lesson by getting students to design their own worksheet - they enjoyed trying to trap each other and they enjoyed writing that I had eaten snails!
