Powerpoint introducing vocab for food shops. This can be followed by a group activity with each group focusing on a different shop, drawing out a shop front on A1 paper and choosing, naming and illustrating items on display. The children can teach each other food names relating to their shops. They can then make a shopping list, visit each other's shops and use basic converstaion to role play buying food items.
