Two free sample worksheets on error checking and correction for AQA A Level
Computer Science (7517), with full answer keys, so you can see exactly what

Each sheet has one question for each of the four methods the specification
names: parity bits, majority voting, checksums and check digits. The two
sheets deliberately differ - one uses odd parity, the other even; one votes
on five copies, the other on three; one works out an ISBN-10 check digit, the
other an ISBN-13. Put them side by side and the point of the pack is visible
in a minute: the same figures give different check digits, so the sheet has
to say which rule it means.

That is what these sheets do. The checksum rule is framed above question 3
and the check-digit scheme above question 4, weights and modulus and all, and
the parity and bit-numbering conventions are at the top of the page.
