I have created these visual pet flashcards to use alongside activities and IWB notebooks to help the chn learn the French pets.
Not only can they be used for display but also in games which reinforce the learning of these words.
I will be using them in a game called 'Je n'ai pas d'animal'; give the cards out to chn in the class secretly and then one child asks the ques 'Tu as d'animal?' until they find a child that does. Once they find an animal the child can swap and so the game goes on.
It is a great way to develop French speaking, listening and reading skills. Challenge your chn and adapt the game to involve writing also if able.
