I give this to pupils and whenever they come across a new word that they had to think about how to say, they add it to the relevant list in here. This has worked wonders in getting them to think about common letter patterns and how they sound, and their confidence with speaking has really improved. I use this alongside the materials I've produced on phonics, which can be found here: http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/French-phonics-work-tons-of-stuff-3013522/ http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/French-phonics-work-2-3013523/

Love it, thanks. oi/oy are not the same sound though. trois and joyeux do not both have the 'wa' sound.
