4 investigations of what graphs of parabolas, cubics, circles & hyperbolas look like. Investigate what happens to them as you change some of the equation. This was aimed at a Year 9 class (14yrs old) who knew nothing about these graphs - just played with Geogebra, sketched graphs é came to conclusions.

Using geogebra, desmos, or any graphing software, students con investigate 4 different types of graph and what happens to them when parts of the equation are changed. Should lead to some very rich discussions about why particular changes affect the graphs in the ways they do!
