LO: To work a budget, surface areas and distances.
Overview: The project involves helping Jack decide which presents he will buy, calculate the amount of paper to wrap them and then decide a route to deliver them.
Suggested approach: Use the introduction PowerPoint to engage the students with the task. Give them the calculation sheet and the Presents and let them choose. Once they know what they are getting, work out the surface areas and them with the Paper sheet and decide on wrapping paper. Then let students plan their route. Once all the task have been completed let them summarise the work on an A3 sheet.
