Functional Skills English Entry 2

A revision/ homework workbook covering all the topics from the Functional Skills curriculum at Entry 2.

It is suitable for Entry 2 ESOL learners as well.

This resource has been tested with EAL learners working towards their FS English Entry 1 qualification and has been successful in preparing learners for their final assessment with 100% pass rate.

It has a range of reading, writing, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and phonics tasks. There are 58 pages of tasks in 12 chapters aimed to take on average 1h 15min each to complete.

There are also answers and an assessment standard writing checklist so that the learners can check their own progress.

Each chapter has a self-assessment part at the end.

The resource is created by a Functional Skills tutor and invigilator.

Individual chapters or tasks can be used in class with tutor guidance or used independently by learners. The tasks are written in a way suitable for learners with English/ literacy skills currently at E1.

Reading tasks are all on colour backgrounds to support learners with certain specific learning differences.
