Functional Skills, Level Two - Writing a Persuasive Letter

Welcome to this persuasive writing, Functional Skills, Level Two writing unit!

In it, your students will look closely at the vocabulary, sentence structures and paragraphs needed to write a successful letter.

Towards the end of the unit, there is a model text to respond to a persuasive, letter writing question about having a flu vaccination.

Before reading, students need to complete the vocabulary, spelling and sentence structure activities. They are based on the language used in the model text.

Upon reading the model text, they can complete their own persuasive letter, using the plan provided.
